1. Believe all the hype about money being EASY to make on
the internet.
2. Believe that you'll achieve long-term success WITHOUT
working hard.
3. View EVERY advertised promise of easy RICHES, as if
they were gospel truth.
WHAT NEXT?
Now just sit back and wait...
and wait...
and wait...
...Because what will happen next is precisely...*NOTHING*.
THE LAWS OF BUSINESS AREN'T RE-WRITTEN
BY INTERNET MARKETING
The first thing to know about selling products on the Net is
that the same old laws of business DO still apply. Time
tested basics like: hard work and determination,
entrepreneurship and original thinking, are still the
resources that create your wealth and success.
But sadly, a lot of people are being conned. It seems like
every week there's a new *HOT* marketing program which
promises that if you simply do little more than sign
yourself up, the program will pay you generously for years
to come.
What nonsense!
Making money online requires a solid proposition, original
thinking and your work to be intelligently directed.
CAN A LOT OF MONEY BE MADE ONLINE? SURE IT CAN.
Some of us have been fortunate enough to experience an
exciting rollercoaster ride going from ZERO to HUGE success
quickly, if not quite overnight.
But most gurus have done this through creating original
products (that's been my route) or at least through some
original thinking and market leadership.
None of us have believed in the get rich quick schemes. All
have recognized that we'd need to work smartly and probably
quite hard to get to the top of the internet marketing
industry.
FOUR TOP TIMEWASTERS TO RE-CONSIDER
1. UNLIMITED FREE VISITORS TO YOUR WEBSITE TODAY
People earn credits by visiting your website. These
services do work and you'll get thousands of visitors. But
will the visitors actually buy at your site? Nope!
They're at your site for the same reason that you visited
theirs, to earn them a credit. They are not interested in
your product and since their presence screws up your ability
to monitor a reliable Visitor-to-Sales ratio, you're better
off without them.
2. CREDITS TO READ EMAIL WITH ADS
You earn credits to read emails containing ads, verify that
you've opened (though not read of course) the email by
clicking on a link. The service works and you'll get your
ads sent out within emails to thousands. But no one is
really interested in your ads and you’ll have to keep
receiving and opening entirely unproductive emails. The
result is a complete waste of your VALUABLE online time.
3. POSTING TO FREE FOR ALLs (FFAs)
It's easy to do, will create a ton of email back to you and
will generally be ignored by everyone. Don’t bother, unless
you enjoy wasting your time.
4. ANY PROGRAM WHICH MENTIONS FORCED MATRIX
Upline...Downline. These programs come and go faster than
the seasons and, unless you happen to start them, you're
unlikely to make any money. Even if you did it would be a
temporary income, as these programs soon burn out. Spend
your time doing something which builds you an online
business future!
TIPS FOR BUILDING YOUR SUCCESSFUL ONLINE BUSINESS
1. Don't fall for anything which is too easy to be true
(examples above).
2. Understand that the laws of business have NOT been
re-written by internet marketers - you've still got
to work hard and smart.
3. Maximize your online time. Don't get sidetracked into
ANY timewasters.
4. Be original. Usually that means developing your own
products so you control both supply and distribution.
